Unlike radiant IR systems that require an array of IR producing elements (LEDs, halogen lights, incandescent light bulbs, etc.), thermal imaging systems depend on infrared radiation generated by all warm objects at the molecular level. By using an uncooled VOX micro bolometer, surveillance camera technology can now offer thermal imaging at affordable prices. Great for perimeter detection, and use in places prone to fog and rain, or smoke.Turn rate is up to 200?/sec under manual or preset control.
